About this place
The Pranzo A lunch course combines an assortment of antipasti with the pasta or pizza of the day, followed by dessert. It is an easy choice when you want a meal that moves from starter to main course and something sweet, with pasta or pizza to suit the day’s appetite.
One lunch began with carpaccio, ham, cheese and fried prawns. On another visit, a diner followed the antipasti platter with peperoncino pasta featuring cabbage and salsiccia. Reviews suggest the platter varies from one visit to the next: one diner enjoyed fish, house-made ham and pâté de campagne, while another praised the fresh-fish antipasti and ham, then added a glass of white wine.
There is plenty to choose from among the pasta and pizzas, too. The menu lists spaghetti with clams and rocket pesto, spaghetti with small prawns and peas in tomato cream sauce, and a tomato-and-basil pizza. Diners have also chosen orecchiette with beef skirt, mushrooms and peppers in tomato cream sauce, and a white pizza topped with whitebait, asparagus and egg. One pair who ordered a pizza and pasta reported that the pasta was served in portions to share—helpful if you would like to try a little of each.
Finish with dessert, then take a moment over coffee or tea. Lunch diners have mentioned lightly sweetened dolci, as well as cheesecake served with fruit and coffee. Wine is also available at dinner, and reservations can be made; booking is particularly recommended for an evening meal.
